Martí Starts in Third and Fourth for Weekend Races

Nerea Martí, with an impressive performance, will start from the third and fourth positions in the two weekend races at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya during the Spanish Grand Prix of Formula 1.

Pulling Dominates with Four Consecutive Poles

Abby Pulling, leader of the F1® Academy, has secured pole position for both races, solidifying her dominance in the championship. The Briton will start from the front row on both Saturday and Sunday.

Race 1 Qualifying

Nerea Martí, after an intense qualifying session, secured third position for the first race. The Valencian, who is particularly motivated by racing at home, will be fighting for a podium finish in front of her friends and family. Abby Pulling will lead the grid, followed by Chloe Chambers from Campos Racing, who was just 0.059 milliseconds behind the pole.

Race 2 Qualifying

In the second race, Martí will start from the fourth position. Doriane Pin from Mercedes will take third place, while Pulling and Chambers will maintain the top two spots. This qualifying session was equally tight, with Pulling setting the pace with a time of 1:41.396.

Expectations for the Races

Nerea Martí has high hopes of reaching the podium and possibly achieving a victory at home. The competition will be fierce, with drivers like Bustamante, Hausmann, Al Qubaisi, and Block fighting for the front positions. Both races promise to be thrilling, with the first starting at 18:00 on Saturday and the second on Sunday morning.

Qualifying Session Summary

Abby Pulling, with an impressive performance, secured the best times with 1:41.396 and 1:41.544, earning four additional points in the championship. Behind her, Chloe Chambers showed great form, although she was outperformed by Martí at times. However, Pulling remained in pole position.

With this performance, Pulling strengthens her lead in the championship, with a 38-point advantage over Doriane Pin. Martí, on the other hand, will look to leverage her motivation and local support to stand out in these key races.
