Summary of Practice 1 and 2 at the Spanish GP
The practice sessions at the Spanish GP in Montmeló have made it clear that this weekend will not be easy for some drivers, especially Checo Pérez, who faced several setbacks in the second session.
Practice 2: Checo Pérez and Problems with His Car
In the second practice session, Sergio Pérez had a tough time. His Red Bull car had issues from the start, struggling with the wing that could not be adjusted properly. Despite trying the soft tire in the qualifying simulator, the results were not promising, leaving him in 13th position, 817 milliseconds behind Lewis Hamilton.
Standout Performance by Hamilton and Sainz
Lewis Hamilton showed a great performance, achieving the fastest time with 1:13.264. Carlos Sainz, with a difference of only 22 milliseconds, came in second, followed by Lando Norris, who was 55 milliseconds behind Sainz, making this session very tight.
